How will it be used during my surgery?
Research has shown that Intraoperative Monitoring to be effective in decreasing the chance of nerve damage and providing patients with better surgery results. Neurophys Ltd employs highly specialised clinical physiologist to monitor your nervous system during surgery. We continuously provide immediate feedback that can allow the surgeon to preventing short and long term neural damage. The integrity of any structure at risk can be monitored using various techniques. By using multimodal monitoring, including somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEPs), motor evoked potentials (MEPs), and electromyograms (EMGs), surgeons can monitor spinal cord.
